Mel Solomon is a true Blues Man!!!

Last night at Duff's Garage, I was witness to the true power of a great blues shouter.....
Mel Solomon, who sung with Hank Ballard and The Midnighters, sat in with the Dover Weinberg Quartet, was a force of nature with his soulful Blues vocals. I have played off and on over the years with Mel, and was just knocked out at how he, after a recent absence from the scene, casually walked in and took off in front of the band and captivated the audience.
Don't let this blues treasure be obscured by time and tide....go see him if you can, when you can!!!
